1. Nature of Accommodation – Holiday Use Only
All accommodation at Parc St Vincent [PSV] is strictly granted on a temporary and precarious basis (occupation précaire), for holiday purposes only.
This agreement does not create a tenancy, lease, licence of permanent occupation, or any form of residential right. As such, all guests do not acquire any rights of residence under French, UK, or EU housing law, regardless of the length of stay.
The accommodation must not be used as a primary or main residence.
Guests confirm they maintain a permanent residential address elsewhere.
The address of Parc St Vincent may not be used for domiciliation administrative or fiscale. No postal delivery, healthcare registration, tax registration, banking registration, schooling registration, or any official administrative use of the address is permitted.
PSV retains the right to access the accommodation at reasonable times for inspection, maintenance, cleaning, safety checks, or operational reasons.
2. Length of Stay
Weekly hire periods normally run from Saturday to Saturday, commencing at 3:00pm and ending at 10:00am.
Mid-week arrivals and departures may be accepted subject to availability.
Minimum stay is 3 nights.
The maximum continuous stay permitted under any single contract is 90 days.
Each booking constitutes a separate and independent holiday contract. No stay shall automatically renew or extend another.
PSV reserves the right to allocate a different accommodation unit for any subsequent booking, including consecutive extended holiday stays.
3. Extended Holiday Stays
Extended holiday stays are defined as bookings exceeding standard weekly periods up to a maximum of 90 consecutive days.
Fortnightly cleaning is included during extended stays.
Guests must maintain the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition between cleans.
Guests may not install fixtures, furniture, satellite equipment, internet lines, appliances, or make alterations to the accommodation.
Extended stays may not be used to establish residency or permanence.
PSV reserves the right to refuse renewal or further bookings at its sole discretion.
PSV may require a break period between consecutive extended holiday stays at its discretion.
4. Cleaning Fees – Short Stays
For stays of 3 nights or fewer, cleaning fees apply:
2-bedroom units & chalets:
- 1 night – €30
- 2 nights – €20
- 3 nights – €10
3-bedroom units:
- 1 night – €40
- 2 nights – €30
- 3 nights – €20
Cleaning is included for longer stays.
5. Payments
The total cost of the holiday must be paid in full one month before arrival.
To secure a booking, a payment of €50 or 30% of the total holiday cost (whichever is greater) is required at the time of booking. This booking deposit is non-refundable.
The remaining balance is payable no later than one month before arrival.
Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the booking deposit.
All payments are for holiday hire charges only and do not constitute rent or create residential rights.
6. Security (Damage) Deposit
- For stays up to 14 nights: €50 deposit
- For stays up to 30 nights: €100 deposit.
- For stays between 31-60 nights: €200 deposit.
- For stays between 61-90 nights: €300 deposit.
The maximum deposit required shall not exceed €300.
The deposit is refundable subject to no damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, or breach of parc rules.
This is not a tenancy deposit and is not protected under any residential deposit scheme.
7. Tourist Tax
Taxe de Séjour applies at the local rate per adult per night and is payable as required by local regulations.
8. Parc Rules and Guest Conduct
Guests must behave respectfully towards staff and other guests.
No illegal activity, excessive noise, parties, or disruptive behaviour is permitted.
A maximum of two pets per unit may be allowed if pre-approved. Pets must be declared, kept on leads, and cleaned up after. PSV reserves the right to require removal of pets in case of repeated breaches.
Subletting, assignment, or any commercial use of the accommodation is strictly prohibited.
9. Termination of Stay
PSV reserves the right to terminate a stay with 48 hours’ notice for breaches of these Terms.
Immediate termination may occur in cases of serious misconduct, illegal activity, or behaviour threatening safety.
No refund will be payable where termination results from breach.
10. Insurance and Liability
Guests are strongly advised to obtain holiday cancellation and travel insurance.
PSV accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, personal injury, or temporary suspension of facilities unless caused by proven negligence.
11. Force Majeure
PSV shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond its control including fire, flooding, extreme weather, government restrictions, or other force majeure events.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any prior discussions, representations, or agreements.
14. Complaints
Any issues must be raised with site management during the stay.
Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 4 weeks of departure to contact@parcstvincent.com.
