Bergerac

Bordeaux - The Gironde

Positioned in the southwest of France, centred around the most amazing city Bordeaux, it is surrounded by culture, museums, shops, chocolate, wine cellars and vineyards.

Casteljaloux

The small village of Casteljaloux is an old medieval city of which only a few vestiges remain today. Discover its Tourist Office, former Maison du Roy, its Cordeliers chapel and its cloister where many members of the Albret family were buried or its Notre Dame de l'Avance church rebuilt between the 17th century. and XVIIIth centuries. Castlejaloux is also its municipal park and its castle which once hosted Jeanne d'Albret and Henri de Navarre. There is nothing left of this castle now, except for a small wing tip. The route continues with the old Casteljaloux and its row of half-timbered houses. You will find them in the streets of Veyries, Maqueboeuf and Posterne. The conservation of certain facades is simply remarkable Casteljaloux is a small village which offers its visitors many activities. In addition to guided tours, you can take advantage of its lake, golf and tree climbing.

Dordogne

Situated northeast of Aquitaire region set between the Loire valley and Pyrenees Mountains. It is well known for its prehistoric cave paintings in the Vezere, medieval Villages, castles, beautiful countryside, rivers and working farms. It is also well known for its amazing cuisine and wine.

Duras

A quiet, charming town home to the Château de Duras. Wander past the medieval clocktower, explore pretty streets, and visit the Maison des Vins to discover the celebrated wines of the region.

Eymet

A lively bastide town with a bustling central square, a year-round Thursday market, and atmospheric summer night markets. You'll find a great choice of cafés, restaurants and bars perfect for relaxing and soaking up the charm.

Gironde

Gironde is well known for the Côte d'Argent beach which is Europe's longest, attracting many surfers to Lacanau each year

Lévignac de Guyenne

Lévignac-de-Guyenne borders six other towns, one of which is in Gironde and the other at a single point . The neighboring municipalities are Saint-Pierre-sur-Dropt , Caubon-Saint-Sauveur , Taillecavat , Monteton , Saint-Avit and Saint-Géraud .

Lot-et-Garonne

Situation further south than the Dordogne. It is made up of picturesque villages, castles and rolling forest hills. The further south you travel the flatter it becomes. It is made up of amazing traditional market towns, unspoiled rural areas, quiet roads and the most beautiful sunflower fields. Seas of yellow can be seen for miles in the month of June and July. This really is the perfect place to escape to.

Marmande

Situated in the Lot-et-Garonne countryside near to Miramont-de-Guyenne and la-Reole you will find the town of Marmande. It is known for its Church with beautiful gardens and cloister, town hall, restaurants, shops and large indoor market. The main train station is situated in Marmande and cities such as Bordeaux and Toulouse are easy to reach.

Monbazullac

Approximately 10kms south of Bergerac you will find the quaint village of Monbazillac. The village is small but extremely pretty and if you were not told about it you would probably drive through it however the you cant miss the Château de Monbazillac famous for its wine is situated on the edge of the village.

Monteton

The village of Monteton is a charmingly small village located just 5km away from Parc St Vincent

Pyrenees Atlantique

This area is positioned between the Atlantic coast and the Western Pyrenees. It is one of the first 83 departments of France created during the French Revolution. The main attractions are breathtaking mountains and beautiful beaches.
