Long recognised in the South-West for its prune based specialties, the Guinguet House chocolate factory based in Duras offers a variety of gourmet fine chocolates and handcrafted confectionery.
La Guinguet House is an acquired step in the gastronomy and cultural life of Lot-et-Garonne.
Discover the various chocolates, and in particular the pralines made exclusively with hazelnuts from Lot-et-Garonne, (famous Muscatine or even Cokinette), incomparable spread, prune specialties (coated chocolate, filled…), fruit jellies, jams and many other delicious products.
Guided tours with tasting:
– INDIVIDUALS: July/August: Tuesday to Thursday except public holidays at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
– ASSOCIATIONS/COMPANIES: May/June/September: by appointment only on Tuesdays and Thursdays except public holidays. For timetables, contact Guinguet House.
Prices:
• 5€ per person with a 10% reduction in the shop on the day of the visit
• 3€ for 6 to12 year olds and free for children under 6
