The Festival of New Wine and Antiques, Bordeaux, October 2024

Celebrating its 43rd edition, La Fête du Vin Nouveau et sa Brocante will take place from October 26-27 in the Chartrons neighbourhood of Bordeaux. This lively festival offers a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere of one of the city’s most charming areas.

This annual autumn event marks the new wine harvest and will bring the street of Rue Notre-Dame to life with wine stalls and bustling antique markets (brocante), making it a perfect occasion for wine enthusiasts and antique lovers visiting Bordeaux over the weekend in October!

With nearly 100 vendors participating this year, you’ll discover a mix of second-hand dealers, antique merchants, restaurateurs, contemporary artists, and winemakers offering tastings of their fresh vintages. Expect to sample a variety of wines, enjoy local culinary delights, and experience plenty of live music and dancing throughout the event.

Key Highlights:

Inauguration Ceremony: Saturday at 11:30 AM.
Blessing of the New Wine: A special ceremony on Sunday at 11:30 AM.
Organ Concert: Concert at St. Louis Church on Sunday at 4:00 PM.
