The European Artistic Crafts Days, also known as Journées Européennes des Métiers d’Art (JEMA), stand as the largest international event dedicated to artistic crafts and living heritage professions, spanning across France and Europe. This unique and free event aims to bolster recognition for the crafts sector worldwide.

What to Expect:

From the 2nd to the 7th of April, you will have the opportunity to delve into the world of arts and crafts professions and interact closely with professionals at training centres or various creative events. Enthusiasts, observers, collectors, and individuals of all ages are welcomed to meet passionate craftsmen and dedicated schools. You might even have the chance to participate in workshops and learn centuries-old savoir-faire techniques.

Events in Nouvelle Aquitaine:

With nearly 9,000 events scheduled throughout France, 200 of them- involving jewellers, cabinetmakers, leather craftsmen, mosaicists, and more, are set to take place in museums, schools, campuses, exhibitions, and crafts markets across Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
