In the lovely little village of Lauzun, bordering Dordogne and steeped in rich heritage, Clément Artisan Culinaire offers a delightful culinary experience. Housed in a large, historic building, the restaurant is led by a young and talented chef, Clément Papillaud.

Chef Papillaud brings his experience from fine establishments to bear on his menu. He sources ingredients locally whenever possible, like the tender and flavourful beef picanha from the village butcher and fresh greens from a nearby market gardener in Monclar-de-Quercy.

The menu showcases the chef’s creativity, with a touch of the unexpected. Roasted notes, like coffee, seem to be a particular favourite, appearing in both main courses and desserts. For a taste of his creative flair, consider the codfish with raw turnip and Gillardeau oyster.

The inviting ambiance, with exposed stone walls and an open kitchen, adds to the dining experience, complemented by a charming terrace. Diners rave about the exceptional service, taste, and quality, making Clément Artisan Culinaire a top dining destination in the area.
